Saturday December 4, we enjoyed the surprise running (well, surprise for us, anyway - we never know when these things are going to happen) of the Race around Vashon that occurs several times a year. This day in particular was simply perfect for folks lovin' their sailboats :) Notice all the whitecaps - very windy day...and now...the pictures...
So fun to watch everyone having such a great time on the water, but it was COLD outside, so I imagine a big vat of hot beverage waiting for everyone at race's end!
This, along with a visit to Gig Harbor's TideFest Holiday Arts & Crafts Bazaar to raise money for Gig Harbor High School, along with my friend Corrine, made for a delightful December weekend :)
